Hull Kingston Rovers Records – Consecutive Appearances

Hall of Fame Heritage Hull KR Records Rovers Record Holders

Gilbert Austin made 190 consecutive appearances between 25-1-1919 and 1-12-1923.
Over his 347 match career with the Robins, Austin scored a total of 163 tries – including a then record 37 in the glorious 1924/25 season, in which he touched down six times in a Yorkshire Cup tie against Halifax. His 190 consecutive games stood as a rugby league record for over 50 years until it was finally beaten by Widnes hooker Keith Elwell in the 1980s.
