About the Project

Hull KR Community Trust was awarded funding from the University of Hull Spark Fund to present the clubs rich history and heritage through a virtual museum that will be housed at the stadium but also made mobile for use in the community.

We are working with One to One Development Trust to create the Virtual Museum; the project will include an interactive timeline of the Club’s heritage and a Virtual ‘stadium’ that the visitor can explore in their own time.

We are using Virtual Reality as part of our important programme of work with Care Homes and Schools so the museum can be easily transported to different community venues on a laptop and headset.

We are creating versions of the Virtual Museum for web, PC and Mac. The museum will be a visually rich interactive experience that uses high end video game graphics.

We are interested in gathering your stories, photographs and favourite memories of the Club which may then feature in the Virtual Museum.

The project will launch later in 2020. Keep up to date by signing up for the mailing list, and/or following the hashtag #HullKRVirtualMuseum on social media.

The Spark Funding supports our wider Heritage project funded through The National Lottery Heritage Fund
