The Lord Mayor of Hull hosted a civic reception for Rovers Players and Directors after winning the BBC2 Floodlight Competition
Greyhound racing was a part of Hull KR’s stadium history for many years starting around the 1920s and following the club to the New Craven Park in 1989 alongside speedway, which ran until 2005.

The match was the Yorkshire Cup semi final against Bramley which Rovers won 25-6.
Rovers beat Castleford the following week in the final 11-7.
